Happy first day of Fall 2021! Whether you are teaching online or face-to-face, make the most of the first day of class. One suggestion that the Iowa State University Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching promotes is to “Consider adding a surprising fact or current event that demonstrates why the content in [your course] matters.
