
Good morning. I am excited to announce that after many weeks of our team working with D2L, we have found an option for faculty to access previous semester emails in D2L on a temporary basis. This will only include emails that were exchanged in D2L prior to the email transition in January. We have “synced” our test server with the live server to pull all of those previous emails onto the test server environment. While you still will not be able to access these emails through your regular account, we can provide you with temporary access to the test server to retrieve the information you need. This will only be available through March 31, 2021. At that point, we have to convert the test server settings to match the live server. In order to get access to the test server to retrieve these emails, please submit a help desk ticket. Below is the process:
- Submit a Service Request Ticket https://piedmonttech.freshservice.com/support/home
- Scroll down on the page and click on D2L Request

- Provide your P# and state that you would like access to the test server to retrieve old emails.
- Once your ticket is received, you will be contacted with specific information regarding logging into the test server.
