Below are a few upcoming Honorlock Webinars (information provided from https://honorlock.kb.help/faculty-policies-and-procedures/upcoming-honorlock-webinars/). All webinars will be recorded and shared via email within one business day of completion, so even if you cannot attend live, you’ll receive a copy of the recording.

Honorlock Best Practices

June 1 at 2:00 PM EST

Join Daniel Conboy for an informational webinar. Daniel will discuss what each proctoring toggle means and how it may impact the student experience. He will recommend different proctoring settings based on the type of exam (i.e. a final exam may need additional proctoring measures compared to an open-book quiz.)

He’ll provide examples of unique exam scenarios and he will explain how to best configure your exam settings to optimize your student’s overall testing experience.

After this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand which proctoring settings to enable for different types of exams.
  • Understand how Honorlock’s AI functions and the impact it has on the reporting data for your assessments.
  • Implement shared best practices to ensure a smooth exam day experience.

An In-Depth Look at Honorlock Proctoring

June 2 at 2:00 PM EST

Join Ariel Hastings and Americo Stellato for an overview of Honorlock Proctoring. During this webinar, you’ll get an in-depth look at all things Proctoring! We will take you through how proctors identify students that need intervention and how a proctor interacts with a student during an exam. You will also learn how to look at proctoring results and understand the various severities of incidents.

After this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the various features Honorlock provides to ensure academic integrity.
  • Identify what actions/incidents trigger AI requests and flags.
  • Understand how Honorlock’s proctors interact with exam takers.
  • Understand how to interpret the proctoring results.

How to Analyze and Review Results

June 3 at 2:00 PM EST

Join Kim Pulda for an informational webinar. Kim will describe the features and functionality of the session viewer. She’ll discuss the different types of flags that may appear on student sessions and provide tips on how to manage your time when analyzing results.

  • Understand what the different flags mean.
  • Understand methods of detecting potential academic dishonesty.

Honorlock Troubleshooting

June 8 at 2:00 PM EST

You may notice some slight, but significant, changes on the D2L Homepage later today. We are excited to announce that there will be a new calendar widget on the right side of the course homepage that will provide all of the important college dates and events. We understand that D2L is where faculty and students spend a great deal of time, therefore we wanted to make that information easy for you to find. Access to Old Emails in D2L: You Asked, We Listened!
Access to Old Emails in D2L: You Asked, We Listened! avatar

Question, Mark, Answer, Solution, Sign, Hand, Help

Good morning. I am excited to announce that after many weeks of our team working with D2L, we have found an option for faculty to access previous semester emails in D2L on a temporary basis. This will only include emails that were exchanged in D2L prior to the email transition in January. We have “synced” our test server with the live server to pull all of those previous emails onto the test server environment. While you still will not be able to access these emails through your regular account, we can provide you with temporary access to the test server to retrieve the information you need. This will only be available through March 31, 2021. At that point, we have to convert the test server settings to match the live server. In order to get access to the test server to retrieve these emails, please submit a help desk ticket. Below is the process:

  • Provide your P# and state that you would like access to the test server to retrieve old emails.
  • Once your ticket is received, you will be contacted with specific information regarding logging into the test server.
