The SC Commission on Higher Education is engaged in a project to review current practices related to transfer among and between institutions of higher education in SC. The work is sponsored by SC Commission on Higher Education along with SHEEO and the John Gardner Institute. The states participating in this project include North Carolina, Colorado, Washington, and South Carolina. The project is inviting faculty and staff at each two and four year public and private institution in the state to participate in a survey. The data collected will be disaggregated by College and each College will receive a copy of their results as well as summative statewide results.
This survey results will provide the perspectives of faculty, staff and administrators who work directly with transfer or transfer-bound students. If you work directly with students on transfer or transfer-related issues, please participate in the survey. Your participation is important because you understand institutional policies and procedures related to transfer and provide a different perspective from those working at the state level on how the state policies and programs are functioning.
The population for the survey includes academic and student services administrators, faculty who teach undergraduates, and staff who work with transfer or transfer-bound students.
If you haven’t completed the survey and work directly with students or transfer-related issues, the survey will remain open until 4 pm on September 30th; please consider participating. The survey link is https://survey.jngi.org/s12d9c-265.
